Welcome to High Shoals Falls RV Resort, a boutique RV destination nestled at 1504 Moody Hollow in the heart of the North Georgia mountains. Once a rustic family campground with roots dating back to the 1970s, the property was thoughtfully reimagined in 2025 into an upscale, peaceful retreat designed for discerning RV travelers.
Today, our fully renovated resort features modern full-hookup sites with upgraded electrical, water, and septic systems, surrounded by professionally designed landscaping. Each spacious site includes a private wood deck overlooking the river, complete with a traditional clay chiminea—perfect for relaxing fireside evenings in the crisp mountain air.
Unlike traditional campgrounds, High Shoals Falls offers a quiet, adult-focused environment with no pools or playgrounds—creating a serene setting ideal for couples seeking relaxation, comfort, and connection with nature.
Located just 15 minutes from the charm of Alpine Helen, Georgia, guests enjoy easy access to scenic mountain drives, hiking trails, trout fishing, waterfalls, and breathtaking views throughout the region.
Your hosts, Lisa and Brian Cunningham, bring over 60 years of combined resort and hospitality experience. Their passion project and retirement vision is simple: to create a refined, welcoming RV experience where guests can unwind, recharge, and feel at home in the mountains.

Nestled in a small valley between Blue Mountain and Rocky Mountain, High Shoals Falls RV Park benefits from a unique microclimate that is cooled by its altitude, the Hiawassee River, and High Shoals Creek. Our temperatures consistently range eight to ten degrees cooler than those in the Metro Atlanta area, and we tend to be one or two degrees cooler than the nearby town of Hiawassee. This past August, we only had a few days when temperatures reached the 90s, with most nights cooling down to the 60s and 70s.

All pets are welcome here at High Shoals Falls RV park! We are dog lovers ourselves. When you arrive, you will likely be greeted by one or all of the Park Managers' three Boykin Spaniels. Your best boys ever are free to be walked on a leash around the park. Our two large open fields are designated as off-leash areas. Coming in 2026, a large fenced-in dog park will be located in the front field.
